To comply fully with federal posting regulations the Applicant Area poster must be posted in English and any language common to a substantial number of the workers if they are not fluent in English.

 

  • Choose the English option if you do not have a substantial number of Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English.
  • Choose the Bilingual (English + Spanish) option if you do have a substantial number of Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English.
  • Choose the Spanish option if your English postings are currently up to date and you only need to add or update the Spanish postings.

 

Note: Federal regulations do not define ‘substantial number.’ For maximum legal protection, we recommend you also display Spanish postings if you have any Spanish-speaking employees who are not proficient in English.
