Employee Attendance Software - 1 Year Renewal

Along with the normal bug fixes, the 2022 Gradience Software release comes with 2 major enhancements:

1) Improved Security

Password requirements have been updated and now include:

• Encrypted password
• Required strong password (e.g. minimum of 9 characters, include at least one letter, at least one number, at least one upper case character, and at least one of the following special characters - ! # % * @ $)
• Required password change every 90 days
• Auto lock for 30 minutes after incorrect password entered 5 times
• When resetting password; cannot use previous 10 passwords used

This feature will not be turned on automatically for existing customers; it must be enabled.  The heightened password security can be turned on under Settings>>Global Settings>>Password Security Tab.

From there you can select which option is best for you:

• High Password Security: includes all the changes listed above

• Simple Password for TimeClock Access: intended for Remote TimeClock implementations where the option of Require Password when Swiping is selected. Choosing this option will allow a simple pin number to be used as a password along with the swipe card. For TimeClock access, this will disable the High Password Security settings above. Note: If customer is using TimeClock Remote and/or swiping – recommend enabling this option

• Force all Clients to use High Password Security: If you have multiple clients using the system, the High Password Security cannot be fully utilized until all client software is updated.
• Leaving Force all Clients to use High Password Security unchecked will allow any client software not yet updated to continue using the old password security until it is updated.
• Check Force all Clients to use High Password Security after all client software have been updated or if you want to enforce High Password Security and not allow the client to log in until their update is complete.

2) Auto-Migration of Previous Database Versions

We've made the process easier for those who need to copy over a database from an older version of Gradience software.
